Gregoire Lake Provincial Park

Gregoire Lake Estates is a haven for those seeking the “lake life” while still within easy commuting distance of Fort McMurray. The small community, a picturesque collection of houses and cottages, borders placid Willow Lake and is only minutes away from Gregoire Lake Provincial Park.  Located 19 kilometres south and 10 kilometres east off Highway 63 on Highway 881 you can enjoy a day at the beach or try camping overnight. Fishing, boating, barbecuing and beach volleyball are a great way to spend the day.

Northern lights

Besides the opportunities which abound for icefishing on the lake, snowshoeing in the trails and tobogganing on nearby snow-covered hills, Gregoire Lake Estates is a wonderful place to see the famous northern lights. Visitors from all over the world flock to Fort McMurray to see the dancing rainbows of light that form the aurora borealis, and many of the region’s best viewing sights can be found on Willow Lake. Join a northern lights tour and watch Mother Nature paint the inky-black canvas of the sky with the shimmering palette of the northern lights.
